cant attach an extra log from /var/log/

from first step: bug report 689181 was created with ubuntu-bug and 20 files was attached

second step: to reply about dev post (#2), i've attached 2 new files (dmidecodeNK & lspciNK)

third step: following the post #2 requests about "removing tags", i've tried to add kern.log, but this attachment never can be done (see # 6 & up) even if i dont got errors or warnings. It simply dont attach a new file. As there is already 22 attachments, i wonder what could be the reason for such an issue.

Do you get an error? What does the page show when you click on 'add attachment'. ?

When i've tried to attach the file, all the process is normal:
- check to add an attachment
- select the file by browsing it
- validate (send )

there is no error or warning, all seem normal, except that the file is not attached. So the question: is there some kind of limitation about adding attachment: number of files, total volume of bytes sent, else ?

any such validation would show an error. Can you screen shot the
screen before you click to complete the attachment, and then straight
after ?

so i post here kernel.log requested by bug 689181, please move it there, as i cant attach it directly (see latest 689181 comments)

The above #5 attachment have failed, so it can be ignored. But i finaly found where the problem is:

- copy kernel.log from its default location: /var/log/ to /home to test about /var/log/ picking issue
- there is no problem to attach file from /home

So, when clicking on "Add attachment or patch" below, and selecting the file into /var/log/, the attachment fail.

Ok, so this outside our control - its up to your browser (chrome/firefox etc) to make this work. I'm marking the task on Launchpad invalid as such - but feel free to open a bug on your browser.
