Bug Description

There is currently no link between a subscription to a bug and the fact that you are affected by this bug. I mean you can subscribe to a bug and not be affected by, and the opposite. Moreover, the subscription and the affect me buttons are not so near together: in my opinion, it would be better to be able to manage the both in a smaller area.

I think that two boxes one can tick or two plus/minus (like the actual subscription button) should be better: one for the subscription and one for your affected status.

In fact, there is maybe just the "affect me" button to change to a form comparable to the subscription button : it will then need one click to subscribe, and one click to be affected by. The same concerning the opposite processes.

I'm surprised I never thought about this. Definitely makes sense.

Good potential usability boost here.

So, we want affects me to be really easy to get to, but subscription, which means 'email me about this bug' is something folk often unintentionally do and find annoying, we want it to be separate and while not harder to use, not accidentally used.

Arguable this bug can be considered Fix Released.

When *filing* a bug, one can chose an existing one as representing the issue at hand and in this case lp provides a single button to say 'affects me' and 'subscribe me' as well which is what was asked for here.

The other use case is when one find an existing bug and in that case two actions are needed: affects-me and subscribe. This is less common for me so *I* don't really care.
