Bug Description
there is a feature to link launchpad projects/series to ubuntu packages ... thats really great. On top I want to be able to link to ppa's/ppa packages ...
rational is that ubuntu usually does not provide the latest packages for all ubuntu/debian releases. So having a PPA for a project where the official backports/packages live for all ubuntu release and linking that as the "official" source to go to get packaged releases /series builds makes sense.
