Bug Description

bug 110108 can partially be addresses by exporting retractTeamMembership() so that team admins can use an api script to remove their team from another team.

I suspect that the symptoms of bug 676494 and bug 651210 will be addressed when such as script is used to remove ~registry from its team memberships because it will trigger a TP update.
