"assign to -> find..." loses bug data

Bug Description
When filing a new bug and using the "extra data" below to assign it to someone, clicking on the "find" link loses all the state: bug text, tags, summary, etc.
What happens is that you are redirected to a page to find people, teams and whatnot in launchpad. So you fill that in, click on find, iterate a few times and aha, you find the person. What happens when you click on the person's link? You are shown his/her launchpad page. What about the bug I was opening? Gone.
