Bug Description
I tried making a recipe with the line "merge lp:ubuntu/python-testtools". When I tried to save it (on Launchpad), I got the error "End of line while looking for branch URL".
Turns out, the *actual* mistake is that I didn't label the line, but how was I to know?
Perhaps one way would be to include the syntax of the line when erroring, e.g. "expected 'merge <label> <branch-url>'".
To post a comment you must log in.
Does the label have any particular limitations in naming? If it is bzr-builder could look at the second name and look to see if it looks like a name or url to try to give a more useful error.
