Karma points falling too fast

I've noticed that my karma points will fall dramatically if I don't perform any translation for more than 3 days... My karma should be over 3000 points but due to some periods of inactivity (only in translations for I contribute in the irc, for instance, almost every day) it keeps falling. Can someone check this and maybe consider a different way of tracking participation?

Indeed. Some grace period like one week to start falling would be nice.
