description |
Using the launchpad.net website my Safari 2.0.3 (417.8) asks the user to provide a Certificate for the website. Choosing and of my available Certificates the website doesnt accept one. This leads to a website which can not be accessed using Safari. |
With some installations of some browsers, Launchpad apparently asks for a user certificate.
This has been spotted with:
* one installation of Safari 2.0.3 (417.8) <http://librarian.launchpad.net/1504774/launchpad.png>, with Launchpad being completely inaccessible as a result, but working fine from another installation;
* one installation of Internet Explorer 6 SP2 <http://librarian.launchpad.net/1547129/ie-cert-alert.png>, with "OK" loading the site. |

We believe this is now fixed; there is no longer any client certificate checking done on our servers. If this issue still occurs for you, please reopen. |
