Bug Description
Is there a means of cleaning up spam posts on bugs? About 10 bugs I am subscribed to are also subscribed to by some silly person who installed a broken opt-in whitelist email blocker that sent the confirm request back to the bug address rather than the bounce address so now this garbage is posted as a comment in the bug itself.
Is there no way to deal with spam posts to bugs?
To post a comment you must log in.
Some of the problem posts are:
https:/ /launchpad. net/distros/ ubuntu/ +source/ xserver- xorg-video- ati/+bug/ 30284/comments/ 19 /launchpad. net/distros/ ubuntu/ +source/ xserver- xorg-video- ati/+bug/ 45768/comments/ 5
https:/
A common way to cut back on problem email like this is to require some structure to the email. One simple method would be to require that the bug number be maintained in the subject line of comment emails.
