Bug Description

The https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-testtools page has an expanding link at the bottom: "Other versions of 'python-testtools' in untrusted archives."

Expanding that link shows three archives:
PPA for Launchpad Engineering owned by Canonical Launchpad Engineering
Versions: Hardy (0.9.2-1~ppa1)
PPA for Paul Hummer owned by Paul Hummer
Versions: Hardy (0~ppa1)
PPA for Entertainer Release Team owned by Entertainer Release Team
Versions: Intrepid (0~ppa2), Jaunty (0~ppa3)

However, perhaps the most interesting archive for python-testtools is the one at https://edge.launchpad.net/~bzr/+archive/ppa which actually has the latest release of testtools.

There's a link at the bottom of the page saying that I "can also search for other untrusted versions of 'python-testtools'." which is a nice start.

It would be nice if:
 a) the version I actually wanted was in the list
 b) there was some kind of indication about how this partial list was formed

<jml> bigjools: one is that it could act less like a mind reader and explain why it picked those, perhaps having a link to "more" rather than a search...
<jml> bigjools: the second is that PPAs w/ newer versions of the package are probably more interesting to people

the list is obviously generated automatically. I am not aware of the criteria. Without that I don't see an actionable item here and suggest to close as invalid. I don't think anyone will make any adjustments for individual search strings as "python-testtools" even if the returned results were suboptimal in that particular instance.
