Bug Description
Real world example from today:
... | cut -d\ -f2 | ...
here:
hyphen dee backslash <two spaces> hyphen eff two
is functionally different to:
hyphen dee backslash <one space> hyphen eff two
and when a user tries to paste the latter into their terminal ... it does not work!
