Branch of another project associated with series

Bug Description

The 'djangoproject' project was somehow able to associate a branch belonging to the 'django' project to its trunk series. Thus when you look at the code page for the 'django' project it lists two series both named 'trunk' associated the branch. Trying to set the branch field on a series via the +edit form or +setbranch form results in an error if I try to associate a branch from another project so this is clearly not intended to be possible.

Sounds like a bug in the vocab used - perhaps there are two similar but different branch vocabs around, or perhaps it was old data when we had a very broad vocab?

Alternatively, associate it with one project, then rename it (though I don't know if that was able to do cross-project stuff)

anyhow, can't make it happen now as cody says, so making this low - possibly we should close it, but there may be a) other cases that need fixing and b) some hole somewhere.
