Bug Description
We have decided to remove Google maps from Launchpad because the cost of a secure data server is prohibitive. All gmap2 view, template, and script code can be removed.
I would be nice to replace maps with an OSM implementation, but there are no secure tile servers available. Building a tile server or working with someone who can provide one is a separate issue.
