When forwarding a bug to an external bug tracker, the component field doesn't get filled in

Bug Description
When forwarding a bug upstream using launchpad using the 'Also affects project' link and then clicking the 'bug filing form' link, the Summary gets pre-populated but the Component field (among other things) does not.
With bug #617679, bug #617691, bug #617693, and bug #617695 solved, it should then be straightforward to enable filling in of the Component field on this form by passing component as a GET parameter.
