Merging the account 'sense-ubuntu' in 'sense' always times out

Bug Description
The account 'sense-ubuntu' is the result of an import of GNOME translations, but it is work from me. I wanted to merge the account into 'sense', so I followed the set procedure and indeed received the confirmation mail.
However, the actual merging that happens after pressing the 'Confirm' button always times out.
The latest Error ID I got was OOPS-1664ED1753.
Older are OOPS-1661ED1419 and OOPS-1661ED1019.
This bug is preventing me from associating my new email address with my own account.

In your case, and can continue to try. Each part completed is not repeated over successive tries. I have had to do this 27 times in a row to complete a merge of one user. Merge is fundementally flawed.
