Could be more specific about ``please use its official bug tracker''

Bug Description

Hello!

I'm using Ubuntu and wanted to report a bug about ``Eye of Gnome''. On <https://launchpad.net/products/eog/+bugs> I clicked on ``Report a Bug'' which led me to a page where it was written that ``eog does not use Malone as its bug tracker. To report a bug about eog, please use its official bug tracker.'' -- but it didn't tell where this official bug tracker is located. I know where it is located, but not everyone does. This could be improved; for other packages as well, I suppose.

I agree this is quite a serious problem, it isn't always easy to find the official bug tracker for a particular package.

It could be argued that launchpad should accept bugs for any package regardless (could be an ubuntu specific issue?). Gentoo's bugzilla accepts bugs for any package (I realise the two systems are quite different but the point still stands).
