SUMMARY
Please add a email subscription feature to various lanchpad features, like product annoucements: similar to the link to "Subscribe to bug mail" in product pages
DESCRIPTION
The Atom or RSS feeds of Launchpad products are web based and of limited use for following several projects. If the page is not visited, the person does not know that content may have been added or changed.
An email based subscription to various parts of the launchpad would enhance rapid information flow; the message would land to person's standard mailbox. This would help e.g. getting news when new software is available.
REFERENCES
The freshemeat.net holds collection of list of open source software. The nice feature of freshmeat is that you can subscribe to the software and get announcements by email whenever a news entry is posted.
