Bug Description

Go to https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/. Notice that there are two big Launchpad-2.0-style buttons on the page. They shouldn't be there.

The images are from 1.0, we ave very old adapters supporting them. The buttons remain because we do not have a 3.0 design for these pages. I do not think the Launchpad front page layout can be reused. Removing the old layouts will allow use to remove a lot of old classes from style.css.

On Bugs (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/), the action for similar buttons are implemented as text only links.

it is OK if we remove those buttons and replace them with plain text links?

We have the Involvement links that are cargo culted from the the Involvement portlet markup into bugs and answer pages. They are intended to be in the top of the side portlets...
...but we do not have side portlets on these pages. we could, but that means someone must commit to proposing a root page design.

Also, bugs has a problem. The related pages are often not found. the statisics are valuable as a summary, not a footnote. We choose to put the summary information at the top of the launchpad front page. I expect that to be a universal rule. The related pages (and all releated pages) may need to be in the side portlets. Late in 3.0 development we created a rule that pages that search/list may have related links in the side portlets so that users could find the links without searching.
