Launchpad Bugs should have the concept of a solution/workaround

Bug Description
Similar to "This attachment is a patch" or "This bug is a security vulnerability", Launchpad should have a way for a commenter to tag that "This comment is a solution". The process would tag the comment as possibly solving or working around the bug. Bugsquad members and subscribers could be alerted when tag is received via email headers. This will also allow users to avoid reading bugs with multiple comments, when they can skip directly to the part that may help them. A rating system for solutions may also be in order.

We generally add solutions and workarounds to the description so someone doesn't have to scroll through all the comments to find them. This way, they can be enhanced/fixed as well.
