2006-09-04 09:42:09 Carlos Perelló Marín rosetta: statusexplanation As talked with Martin Pitt, the solution is promote koffice-l10n source package to main and leave the binaries in universe, that will provide with translations to Rosetta and the empty .deb packages will remain in Universe. This will require a new upload of the package to upload the translations into Rosetta.

Reopen Rosetta task because we will need to add some code to link koffice/k3b translation packages with their binaries

2006-09-04 09:48:59 Carlos Perelló Marín description The new upstream translations for koffice have not been imported to Rosetta. The koffice version in edgy is 1.5.2 (14.07.2006) but all upstream translations are older. This is probably caused by the following circumstances: - KOffice is in main and so its transltion is handled by Rosetta - The upstream translations for Koffice are not in the source package, but in an separate package named koffice-i18n - This package is in universe There had been similiar problems with dapper. Please fix this. Koffice and k3b translations are in universe while the binaries are in main and thus, we are not importing their translations into Rosetta. We need to do: - Promote their sourcepackages to main and do a new upload to give translations to Rosetta. - Update Rosetta code to link Koffice and k3b language packs with their binaries so the imports can be done automatically.
