Bug Description
I'm working on Translations and Answers on Launchpad to try to be useful.
I work on random projects, sometimes spending just 5 minutes to translate a few missing strings on a software. I try to follow the cases on Answers too. But it requires to have a computer, and I think this kind of work could be done sometimes on a smartphone. However, the web interface is not really meant for them. It's possible to use it of course, but not optimal.
A native client for Android, or Iphone maybe (not sure if a lot of opensource fans will buy an Apple locked device, but who knows?) could be nice. At least for those features: follow your Answers, and work on translations. I don't know if it's possible to do that, maybe Launchpad has no API to do so. Also, I wish I could code it myself, but except PHP web development, I don't know anything about smartphone code. Maybe I will try to learn, but then what about the APIs?
A lot of users use Launchpad on an iPhone. We certainly knew when they could not login. The community are welcome to create alternate version of Launchpad using the API, but this is not a priority of the Launchpad engineering team.
