for a full dump from the error log.

Looks potentially nasty, but may be a regular error badly handled?

pastebin + login are inflooping me so I can't see the traceback, but I suspect it's the old can't-reach-the-private-xmlrpc-server-occasionally issue.

Gary Poster (gary) wrote :

I sent the traceback to Barry, in hopes he could shed more light on it.

I did a search for old bugs in the launchpad project (with terms "connection refused mailman") but could not find a result.

Changed in launchpad-foundations:
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Low

I think bug 578405 is caused by this bug.

https://pastebin.canonical.com/32109/ indicates that syncing broke on Wednesday.

Curtis Hovey (sinzui) wrote :

While this is the root cause, I made this the dup of bug 578405 so that users can find the bug they are reporting.

Curtis Hovey (sinzui) wrote :

gary. I undupped this per barry. Since we know the xmlrpc was broken, this may really be fixed after the mail env fix for psychopg2.
