Bug Description

Please remember the ordering of search results for simple and advanced searches, also after restarting the web browser or using another computer with another browser. It should be stored in a simple way in the browser for anonymous users and in the profile for registered users.

Each user has another way of by default wanting their results ordered. The latest ordering should always be used as default and should be identical for simple and advanced searches.

Benefit for implementing this, is that one gets immediately the ordering selected which one used the last time.

I don't think we should automatically preserve ordering, but I think it could be possible to re-work our search form and search lists so that search criteria carries over between searches. This could become higher priority if we work on improving search later in the year.

Changed in malone:
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Low

Thanks! Perhaps make it optional so logged in users can set it in their profile that sort order is persistent.

Please also consider making the table with search results sortable on each column and allow for more results per page, especially provide option of all results in one page. Keeping the default at 75 is fine.
