Now China mirror called "Sohu", shows "Up to date", But when I click in to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/mirrors.sohu.com-archive this page ,all item shows "Last update unknown".
I'm sure this is a bug of the page. pelease modify it soon.

Now, this mirror "LUPA", https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/mirror.lupaworld.com , has the same problem.

This behaviour is largely by design, and the comments do predict the behavious described here. The summarised freshness pull the last record, which may be an anonmally from the other records. The summary might be more accurate if an average of several records were examined. It depends on the relaiblity of the mirror.

Hi, Curtis Hovey.
I'm the maintainer of https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ubuntu.srt.cn-archive , and I wrote a script to parse the *archivemirrors page* , and want to find the most fast mirror for me which is up to date and have an rsync address. Then I SYNC to that mirror.
But, now, I found some mirrors are really broken but has marked as "up to date"...
Is there any suggestion?

Rewriting the aggregated freshness rule seemt to be the only option. Reading the mirror itself is best.
