Bug Description

Report a bug and tag it by picking common categories from a list:

e.g.:
"This issue is related to [package name]'s.."
    [ ] Artwork
    [ ] Performance
    [ ] Language
    [ ] Ergonomy #i.e. Usability
    [ ] Documentation
[+] add a custom tag for [package name]

this could be of great help in reporting bugs on launchpad, since it will make it easier for e.g. interface designers to find bugs to work on, searching only for bugs tagged with "artwork" or "ergonomy"

a translator for example could easily find bugs related to translation or language, unsing bespoke tags as search filter in bugs.launchpad.net

also, adding a custom tag for a certain package would help categorizing package specific bug report types..
Rhythmbox e.g. knows that one can make a difference between Gstreamer related issues, Ubuntu One Store related issues and Rhythmbox-itself related issues..
upon "report a problem" in the rhythmbox help menu, apport actually asks you, using the new apport hook system permitting a q&a dialog in apports gui before submitting to launchpad. this could also be enhanced with the above listed common categories..

Since most projects use official tags for this sort of thing, I think this would be covered by bug 341220. This bug does assume some relationship between apport and the tags list that wouldn't be covered there, but maybe you can add a comment to that bug suggesting how such a tag list could work with your ideas.

Note that apport symptoms already work to get bugs filed against the correct package, which is independent of any categorization that takes place within the package or project's bugs.
