Search in the dependencies of a package

It would be nice to be able to search for bugs on a package and on its dependencies. The use case is that I'm seeing an error message and want to find or file a bug report about it.

Even better would be if this searched the corresponding upstreams.

This would have impacts on search and presumably on dupe finding as well.

This isn't so much a bug as me dumping an idea in the most useful place I could think of. Sorry I couldn't think of anywhere better.

Just to add to the scope of this, would be handy if the search would look in bug attachments (and bug descriptions if it doesn't already).

Often, reporters don't put the error message in the title, but it'll be there in the description or one of the attachments.

Searching attachments is a non-trivial problem though, but is being discussed at https://code.launchpad.net/~inspirated/launchpad/implement-Bug-findAttachments/+merge/27786

Unfortunately, due to potential performance and privacy concerns, further work on this branch is stalled currently.
