Merge account and/or deactivate account not working

Bug Description

My old account still works even after a merge. The new account (merged) loose information about karma, member since, etc.

So, after all, I tried to deactivate both (the old account still works) to recreate a new "clean" account but Launchpad says that my e-mail address is already in use.

Can you, please, remove both account and information for me (including the perlbal's PPA)? No problem to loose informations.

This looks like a question, not a bug. karma and member since is not transfered from the old account on the new acount. Email address cannot be registered...merge is responsible for moving them to the new account.

The two email addresses listed belong to one account, so the email addresses were moved to one account. Use forgot password when you try to login to reactivate the account: https://launchpad.net/~osantana-triveos-deactivatedaccount

Sorry, but I didn't see this information on site. Thats why I think it is a bug.

Can I change the launchpad ID to remove the '-deactivatedaccount' or
'reactivate' my account to remove this part of the name?

I tried to change this but launchpad don't allow me because I've a PPA
(that I can't remove :/)

PS. Is there some place to ask for 'support' instead of 'report bug'?
"Answers" is the right place to do this?

Answers is the correct place. When you reset your password using the forgot password process, the launchpad id should be restored.

I say should because I saw a report this morning that implies the process has changed and the rename is not being automically performed. Asking a question in the launchpad project will get an admin to fix it if this bug is true,

Try removing the "deactivated" tagline by logging in, visiting your profile, select "Change Details", scroll to "Name" and remove the extra tagline...
