X's karma has expired.

In my Launchpad karma page, I see the following text:

"This is a summary of the Launchpad karma earned by Delan Azabani, organized by activity type. Delan Azabani's karma has expired. Total karma: 2253"

I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb was that a particular karma action expires in six months after it's given (to keep a score of frequency of activity, not total activity), but I don't understand what Launchpad means by "Delan Azabani's karma has expired".

Your karma page looks fine at this moment. When karma is being updated, it is possible for the page to say there is not karma, or has expired, yet you can see lots of karma actions listed. I think this is what happned in this case.

Karma expires over 1 year.

I saw this again on https://edge.launchpad.net/~mthaddon/+karma though it now looks ok.

At the time there were recent karma activities listed, but I think no summary table at the top.

Maybe this can happen while karma is being updated?
