Branches in knit format probably should be upgraded; the upgrade button
is at the bottom of the branch page; it would be nice for knits (and
perhaps packs) to show a
/!\ This branch is in an old, slow format. To upgrade it to 2a click
<here>. This will require all users to have bzr 1.18 or newer (2.1
recommended).

This will probably be implicitly fixed by Aaron's project to upgrade
all old-format branches. I don't know of a bug number for that
project.
