Hi, on https:/
There is a watched debian bug - its closed in debian but the page is
stale.
However, this bug isn't about it being stale, its about what happens if
you click on the pen to the right of "new" in the Debian row of the task
table.
You end up on

big red warning 'Debian Bug tracker bug #480982 appears not to exist.
Check that the bug number is correct.', Package set to blank.
And two rows of "

So I think this needs a little love (oh, and how do I make the bug be
closed!)

This definitely needs some love.
The way to make it closed is to select one of the "None, the status of the bug..." radio buttons and then set the status manually after you've made that change. You're not allowed to update the status of a task assigned to a bug watch, though I'm not entirely sure that that's actually a necessary restriction.
I've updated the bugtask in question.
