Launchpad should allow a user to unsubscribe from a particular bug, where they are otherwise subscribed to the entire project

Bug Description

When subscribed to a project as an admin, you receive all notifications from any bug in the project. As an admin, you have no way to permanently close a bug report or ban a particular user from reopening a bug report. Neither of these two later mechanisms are very community friendly so it's understandable.

Right now, the only way to handle an "overzealous" bug reporter if you are a project admin is to install a local e-mail filter. It would be nice though if you could unsubscribe to a particular bug report while still being subscribed to the project as a whole.

Ack, would be nice.

It would help with bugs filed by users that I, as project maintainer, mark as fix-released, wont-fix, or invalid, and then sometimes unruly users reopen repeatedly.

Rather than kicking/banning the user, I'd rather just quietly unsubscribe from the bug and let it be.

If you want examples of bugs I'd use this on, let me know... I have a few :-)

This is what we used to call "ignore" subscriptions. When I was on the Launchpad team I designed a basic presentation for it, as follows. In the list of subscribers on the bug report page, each subscriber had a checkmark if they were subscribed, or a cross if they would normally be subscribed but had unsubscribed from this particular report. For you, the checkmark/cross would be obviously clickable to toggle the subscription, while for every other subscriber it would not.
