Bug Description

On https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/500138 I just got a notification of an updated bug watch even though it's marked a duplicate.

Should we (a) completely ignore bug watches linked to duplicate bugs or (b) update their status and importance but suppress notifications?

I would suggest ignoring. If the watch is needed, it should be on the
master bug and even if we're not notifying LP users, we're hammering the
upstream trackers unnecessarily.

I think ignoring is the right thing to do, too. There shouldn't be activity on a duplicate, unless it's related to un-duping it.
