want to subscribe to changes in a team

Bug Description

Somewhat related to bug #285414, but more the inverse.

I would *like* to subscribe to changes to a team I'm in. Specifically ~contributor-agreement-canonical

The main reason is that we have to wait for people to sign the agreement before we can merge their code. Right now you have to do this via polling, or expecting the user to tell us when they have finished. (But proper confirmation should really come from the people receiving the agreement.)

It would be nice to get an email saying "the agreement has been signed". (Arguably this could be done in launchpad code review if you could tell it that you were waiting for X to happen...)

In solving bug 815623 we have increased the motivation for this with open teams.

Team admins are recieving emails about membership changes. This kind of issue related to the broader request to extend structural subscriptions to registry team and project events. This is a lot of work that needs help from the community, or becomes aprimary goal of Launchpad.

affects: launchpad → launchpad-registry
Changed in launchpad-registry:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Triaged
