Bug Description
I just tried setting up a vcs import for pygame because I want to see how the svn repo gets converted to bzr. However, if I leave the source package field empty, I get a warning:
Request ignored. You need to select a source package
This field is described as: "Package in Ubuntu, The Edgy Eft"
To me, this has a stronger dependency on ubuntu than is necessary when I'm just tracking upstream. In this case there _is_ a package in edgy, which is perhaps why I get prompted in the first place, but then it could have easily seen there is only one source package associated and prefilled with that?

This warning is spurious and does not prevent the form data from being accepted.
See bug 46240. I raised the importance of that bug one notch, since it appears to confuse a lot of people.
