Bug Description

On <https://launchpad.net/people/+me>, the "Related software and packages" and "Authorized applications" links both feature a blue (i) icon. This icon isn't really appropriate; the links aren't any more info-y than, for example, "What's this?" or "All activities".

One way of fixing this would be for the links to have no icon at all. Another way would be to introduce custom icons for each of the links.

I think the links are very information-y. I cannot image another class of icon for them.

Why do you expect a single "class of icon" to make sense for both links? They're about very, very different things. I provided two possible solutions to the bug, and neither of them involved a single icon for both links.

Adding many icons for pages types instead of operations will confuse the user. I do not want to learn a vocabulary of icons. The act is view, and that is the primary purpose of those pages. Other actions like add, remove, and edit are meaningfully represented. The only exception on can think in Launchpad is CVE, which you reported a bug about--your choice is icon was too scary.

I don't see how having separate icons for each action in Launchpad would be any more confusing than, for example, having separate icons for each application in Ubuntu's Applications menu. Even if it was, that still leaves my other suggestion, for the links to have no icon at all -- like the "All bugs in progress", "All assigned blueprints" etc links do on the very same page.

I think the use of (i) is correct. I cannot image any other icon. I changed the title to reflect your desire to change them, but I strong disagree with the word "inappropriate".

summary: - "Related software" and "Authorized applications" links use inappropriate
