Bug Description
If you are merging in a new version of upstream into a source package branch, and use a merge proposal to manage this, you get a big diff that contains all the changes to upstream.
This isn't useful, since most of the time you only want to review the changes to the packaging, which generally happen in files under debian/. It is definitely useful to have the full diff available though.

Mark the upstream branch as pre-requisite. Or push a backup of it at particular revision to launchpad and mark that as prerequisite, just in case upstream moves.
