faster simpler easier way to link related bugs

It would be nice if the bug tracking capabilities would be expanded to include the possibility of linking "related" bugs in a special field instead of having to rely on random links peppered through the various comments made to a bug. I find that in many cases there is some sort of a weaker "relationship" between bugs that I would like to express/track, more than the duplicate/non-duplicate states.

Some other systems can establish relationships like "this causes other", "this superseeds other", etc. Just having a simple "is related" list of bugs would be a great help though.

Would bug 95419 address your use case? If yes, I'll dupe this bug against that one, but it doesn't mean it's going to be fixed in the short term.

Yes, it looks like some of the concerns are being addressed there as well. I don't necessarily want full fledged dependencies between bugs - a simple way of tracking related bugs together, with simple quick links that can be used to jump from one into another would do the trick.
