Bug Description
I'd like it to be easy to find reviews about revisions merged into trunk (and I suppose other branches). Ideally, when viewing a revision or list of revisions, I think I'd see a link like "Reviewed by: 2 people" that would take me to the archived review conversation(s) for the branches merged in at that revision.
If merge proposals tracked specific revisions they were for (rather than just being associated with a branch whose contents can change), then this would be a relatively straightforward link to calculate, I think.
This would make it very easy to not only see the revision history of a branch, but also some important conversations that motivated those changes. (Much like how bug links do, but it's more common for a change to have a review than a bug.)
Basically, the meta-feature request is "I want to be able to see conversations relating to a change, to help me understand the change." The impossible ideal solution would probably apply AI to tell me which mailing list posts to read too! But making it easy to read the old reviews would be a great help.
I very strongly agree. I was talking to Tim about this feature mere hours before you filed the bug.
