Bug Description

Hi there.
I am using ubuntu since 7.10. I upgraded to 8.04 but i have a problem that doesn't allow me to enable the extra visual effects and so i tried to install ubuntu 9.04. I downloaded the 9.04 cd from the official ubuntu site twice because i thought the firt time that maybe something went wrong. I have been trying to install ubuntu 9.04 desktop edition (32 and 64 bit) over 5 times but always have this problem.
When i boot the pc for the installation everything is ok. I have the menu in which i choose what i want to do. Then i go to install ubuntu and the same messeage keeps coming over and over. " (firmware bug) Powernow-k8: your BIOS does not provide ACPI_PSS objects in a way that linux understands. Please report this bug to the linux ACPI maintainers and complain to your BIOS ventor"
Really don't know what to do.
Thanks in advance.

P.S Sorry for my bad english.

This report seems like a question (more than a bug). You'll probably get an answer faster if you report it as a question.
