no progress spinner for inline status and importance changes

Most Launchpad ajax controls (eg change description, subscribe) display a little spinner while the operation is running to confirm something is happening - it can take 10+ seconds from Australia, long enough for doubt. The inline status control does not.

I do see the spinner when I changed this bug to incomplete. The edit icon turns to the spinner icon when I changed the status. What browser are you using? I'm using Jaunty's Firefox 3.0.11

I'm using the same browser and I definitely don't see it. I do see the green flash after the setting's been saved but that's different.

I also don't see the spinner *sometimes*. I didn't investigate too closely but it seemed to me that the spinner appeared consistently after a page refresh, but not necessarily when changing status after some other AJAX action on the page. I'm not sure about the pattern here, but I know I didn't see the spinner a couple times when updating bugs tonight.

Tried on staging today a couple of times and got the same behaviour described by Deryck. Sometimes there's a spinner, sometimes there isn't. Since the green flashing does appear once the operation is done, I'm setting this to low.
