Steps to reproduce:
* Log in to wiki.launchpad.canonical.com
* Go to UserPreferences
* Submit the form
Observed behaviour:
* The (single) password field is filled in (supposedly by Firefox)
* Submitting the form fails with a mismatched passwords error.
* Clearing the password field allows successfully submission of the form.
Expected behavioun:
* The form can be successfully submitting without having to clear the password field.
Suggested fix:
* The password field on the form should be removed, since the passwords cannot be modified from within the Wiki.
* The help text about logins and passwords on te UserPreferences page should be modified to point to launchpad.net. |
