(This is a wishlist)
It could be interesting to add an "Upload from URL" feature in the "Upload a file" section of a translation.
This could be useful to do fast upload of a PO file over the Internet: no need to download the PO from upstream, saving it on the hard disk and the uploading it in Launchpad. Useful if I correct some typos upstream and want to fast sync it with Ubuntu/Launchpad.

Thanks for the report Milo, it's not a bad idea. But, wishlist is "low" in our terminology. It means you've got to bribe one of the developers to actually get it done, or wait for open sourcing and do it yourself. :)
Also note that this might not be trivial due to access restrictions on our production machines (it's quite likely web access is quite limited for our script server, though I am not completely sure).
