List of most popular PPAs

Is there anyway that Launchpad/Ubuntu can watch which PPAs are the most popular (e.g. most subscribed too, most downloaded, etc.)?

Why do I request this service? I think many users are looking for updates to certain programs over Ubuntu's 6-month release cycle or eager to try out beta software to help developers. Having a list of the post popular PPAs (maybe on the homepage or the main PPA page) may achieve this?

To me, it'd be something like:

Avant Window Manager - https://launchpad.net/~awn-core/+archive
Banshee - https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/ppa
Mozilla Firefox - https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-daily/+archive/ppa
OpenOffice.org - https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive/ppa
XBMC- https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archive/ppa
Wine - https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa

It would also benefit programs such as XBMC (http://xbmc.org/) as they are not currently packaged in/with Ubuntu.

Yes, we plan on doing this eventually, although it requires a few dependent infrastructure changes. Thanks for filing the bug!
