Bug Description

The only indication of a PPA package's expiry is that its binaries are no longer linkified. It should be more obvious.

Right, it would be nice to render source package rows that resulted in binary files that are now expired differently.

However doing that properly, checking files while rendering the page, might incur in the slow pages (similar to what we have before 2.2.5).

We better find a way to annotate this detail (looks like a status) while we are expiring binary files.

Even adding a note next to the unlinkified file would be better, and that's easy to do with no extra queries.

Right, presenting that information within the expanded area (beside the unlinkified filename) can be done ASAP. I just don't think it should be the final solution.

I say that mainly because we will be denying copies of sources with expired binaries per bug #316431, and it would be ideal to have an indication that a source has expired binaries (thus cannot be copied) already in the source row, and not require the user to expand each copy candidate row and check.

IMO, if the source can't be copied it shouldn't even be presented, but it falls exactly in the same scenario, calculating it on-the-fly will be too slow for web UI purposes.
