Subscribing to private PPAs is gratuitously inefficient

Bug Description

If you have been invited to subscribe to any private PPAs <https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+archivesubscriptions>, each PPA you have been invited to has a "Confirm" link that opens a separate overlay saying: "The administrator of the archive '{archive name}' has opened a subscription for you. You now need to confirm your subscription", and containing "Confirm subscription" and "Cancel" buttons.

This requires 2*n clicks, where n is the number of invitations you have received, and involves scanning an extra dialog that doesn't really tell you anything useful. It would be at least twice as efficient to just include "Subscribe" and "Decline" (bug 384772) buttons in the table row directly.

Right, that's a lot of clicking.

I think the wording would benefit from a change too; the word "confirm" is not quite the right thing to say. Maybe "activate", "get password" or "get token"

Yes, it should just be an 'Activate' button in the table.

With JS switched off, clicking on 'Confirm' takes you to a separate page where you can activate the subscription, and it initially had more information (person who subscribed you, description of the archive etc.). So the overlay was to *save* that page load.

But now that extra information is not there, as you said, there is no reason for the extra dialog (or page whith js off). I'll update it to simply include an 'activate' button in the table row.

I think we dropped the need to subscribe? Maybe this is fixed?
