description |
Some PPA users would like to have a -changes style email notification of uploads, like Ubuntu does. This needs to be separate from the PPA team contact address. |
PPA upload notifications are currently implicit: there is no way to control whether a notification is received. Some PPA users would like to have notifications sent to a list or some contact without upload access; other PPA users do not want to be notified of upload / build events in PPAs they have upload/admin access to.
The PPA team contact address controls communication with the team and is not a substitute for actual subscription facilities. |
