Bug Description
I have reported a grand total of 5 bugs in Ubuntu ;)
I have tried in vain to specify whether the bug was in Breezy, Dapper, one of the Flight CDs for Dapper etc.
Please make it easier to add the version or release of the distribution which the bug affects. This is important since even the older versions or releases of Ubuntu are supported for 18 months, and so bugs in old releases need to be fixed even if the same package in the next release has a bug-fixed version of the affected package.

I can't believe nobody has responded to this yet. This is one of the more frustrating problems with the new version of Launchpad. I'm not an Ubuntu developer, although I've been running it since the first Warty beta, and would imagine that this would be very helpful for bug triage. I mean, if nothing else, it would be nice to know if a bug was applicable to the LTS release or the current development branch, wouldn't it? I find myself prefixing my reports with "Gutsy - blah blah blah" just so the devs know I'm running the latest alpha and not, say, Dapper.
