Search does not seem to searching Summary and Description properly

Bug Description
To recreate,
In distribution "Ubuntu" search for bugs using the "Advanced Search" feature in Launchpad for the text "fiesta" or "fiesta.xpm". No results are shown.
I expect the bug at the url https:/
to show up since it has fiesta.xpm in the Summary as well as the description.
I am clueless as to why the bug doesn't show up in the search results.

Stuart, is it possible for our indexer to tokenize on something like ![a-zA-Z0-9\-]? I know nothing about fti, but it seems that if it did something like this, this bug would go away.
Maybe you have another suggestion?
