Bug Description

Looking at https://launchpad.net/people/doko/+packages
In Uploaded packages I see db4.3 4.3.29-3ubuntu1, although 4.3.29-5build1 is already in the archive.

On the one hand this information is nice to have, because it points to problems with your own upload, but maybe put these in another section (Uploaded superseeded packages) ?

It's not so easy to do this change, because this view /only/ looks at the upload information; I don't even touch the publishing tables. The main problem with touching publishing, or even checking if a newer SourcePackageRelease exists, is that it will be a performance disaster for a page with so many packages, unfortunately. Mmmmm. The way around this would be adding an SQL view, grumble grumble.

How much of a problem is this?

For the user view, it was useful until I scanned the whole list once.
Now you have to remember which packages are superseed, and which not.
The size of this section increases, never shrinks ...

That's ok for the "packages in main/universe" view, but not for the user
view.

Not sure, if I mentioned that elsewhere. A button to hide the packages
with no problems (all built, no bugs) would be nice.
