to a bug tracker, but couldn't figure out how to do so. I'm guessing that the main reason why is because there's no "Register External Bug Tracker" link on that page.
Also, our current model requires linking a bug tracker to a project, which itself causes at least two problems for the use case above:
1. gaim is not linked to a project.
2. There's no way (at least, nothing I can see) to link a project to an existing product. |
Description from the duplicate bug which describes the problem much better:
I registered a new project, OpenNebula.
I wanted to register its bugtracker. I went to the project details and found a long, long list of possible bug trackers to choose from. OpenNebula uses its own Trac instance which wasn't on the list. I decided to register said Trac instance, and didn't find a way to do so on the project details page. I went to
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/opennebula/+filebug
which, among other things, said that if I knew where they tracked their bugs, I should tell you about it. "Tell you about it" is a mailto:feedback@launchpad.net link. Asking on #launchpad revealed this link:
https://edge.launchpad.net/bugs/bugtrackers/+newbugtracker
...which apparantly was just what I was looking for.
